Instructors are there to give suggestions and adjust your alignment if needed.
Classes currently operate primarily by pre-registration. Due to Public Health Regulations in regard to Covid-19, we have a maximum capacity of 6 people in the Yoga Room at once (plus your instructor). You may drop-in, but we cannot guarantee a spot without pre-registering. If you wish, please contact Laurin to book a Complimentary One On One Consultation. We will discuss your yoga goals and help you decide which classes are best suited for you and your yoga journey. |
Hot Yoga |
Our invigorating, infrared heating system will allow you to experience a yoga practice that will heat you from the inside of your body to the outside. The infrared heaters, alongside the yoga flow, will make you sweat, stretch and tone your muscles, burn calories, and assist in boosting your metabolism! The infrared heaters are heated to a maximum 100F.
No prior flexibility or yoga skills are necessary, but we do encourage all yogis to bring water and a towel. |
Non-Heated Yoga |
Although we do specialize in Hot Yoga, we understand that it is not for everyone! We offer a variety of non-heated classes as well, where the focus is to build internal heat, starting with the breath and then moving the body. These classes are suitable for all levels, no experience necessary.

About the OwnersJason and Laurin are a pair of wandering yogis who longed to create a space for people to find community, inspiration, and support. That dream has now grown into Kala Yoga, and extends to all of the wonderful yogis who share it with them!
In 2012, Jason and Laurin left Canada to explore the world for 2 years, venturing through Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. As they traveled, they were welcomed into many homes and experienced some of the innumerable ways that other people lived, and soaked up as much knowledge as they could. They spread their love for yoga and music wherever they went, and were inspired by the remarkable people they met who were affecting positive change in their communities. From activists to aboriginal peoples, hippies to high-schoolers, they saw that change was possible and returned home with a vision for their own community. "Our goal is to create a safe place where people can come to feel supported and to be themselves. We will support you in your yogic journey in whatever way we can, and hope that you will share it with us." |
