Laurin Wolf

Laurin first began exploring yoga as a way to treat anxiety and panic disorder, and has since been irreversibly drawn to the calm and inner peace the practice can bring. She has a traditional approach to yoga from her intensive training in India, and her continuing yoga education has begun to lean toward the more slow, mindful forms of yoga and its related healing modalities.

Most recently, Laurin has integrated the healing power of touch into her practice in the form of Thai Yoga Massage. She believes strongly that compassionate and mindful touch has the power to transform, balance, and heal past traumas, as well as provide a profound and meaningful way of connecting with other beings.

You can expect to leave one of these sessions feeling refreshed and energized, as well as deeply relaxed. Thai Yoga Massage is a wonderful way to soothe sore or tired muscles, quiet your mind, and find a deep place of peace. 

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Massage is an ancient bodywork practice which combines acupressure, energy meridian stimulation, and yoga-like stretching, which encourages great relaxation and rejuvenation. This form of massage is performed on the floor with a padded mat, where both practitioner and recipient are fully clothed, and no oils are used. Thai Yoga Massage involves gentle compression of the body, some more direct pressure and stimulation of meridians and acupressure points, and manipulation of the body into gentle, therapeutic yogic postures. By freeing the flow of vital energy in the body, Thai Massage can improve posture, breathing, flexibility, range of motion, digestion and circulation. Muscles are stretched, inner organs toned, and emotional and nervous tension is reduced.
