At Kala Yoga in Orangeville, we offer a wide variety of classes, both heated and non-heated, including different styles of yoga, yoga fusion classes and meditation! For details on the classes themselves, please visit the Class Descriptions tab. The regular rates apply for all classes, except for the Karma Class and Community Class. The Karma Class is a $5 donation (or use your pass) which goes to a good cause (see our Beyond the Studio page for details on which cause, as it changes during the year). The Community Class, Community Self'Led Practice, Community Meditation, and many community activities are "Pay What You Can", as we would like to offer accessible and affordable yoga and a community to everyone! You can offer any denomination you feel comfortable giving, and there will be a donation box set up so only you know how much you offered. If there is a class that you would like offered that you do not see on the schedule, please let us know! You can use the Suggestion Box in the studio, or the form on the Contact page. Our Yoga Room holds a maximum of 16 people. Please note that it is not required that you pre-register for your class, but if the class is full those who have signed up online are guaranteed a space, and then first-come, first-served.
Signing up online is a great way to reserve your spot, but if something changes please cancel your reservation or give us a call. We will not hold your spot once the class starts so as not to disrupt the class. Winter Schedule: Effective January 7th, 2019

In December we were sad to say goodbye to Michelle ~ without her Kala Yoga wouldn't even exist! Teaching Core Flow we now have Sarah on Monday mornings, and our Monday night has a new "class": a Self-Led Community Practice. This is something we have wanted to offer for a long time now ~ This Community "Class" is not so much a class but rather a space for Self-Exploration! The practice of Yoga is designed to ultimately be Self-Led and Self-Governed ~ listening to your own body's unique needs and desires in order to inform your personal practice day to day. This space is open practice time: you can drop in at any time during the slot, stay for as long or as little as you like or need, and practice what and how you would like to practice. Experienced instructors will be in the Studio to help you if the need should arise, to troubleshoot, ask questions, and help you dive deeper into your own body and mind.
Thanks to your suggestions, Miriana's Tuesday night Ashtanga is now a 75 minute class! Tabitha is teaching Slow Flow on Tuesday nights at 6:45pm, and Barb's Power Flow has moved to Thursdays. We have also added another 75 minute Ashtanga Yoga to the Saturday roster with Ruth! Prenatal Yoga with Miriana is also back, but as a Pre-Registered class. You can sign up for Prenatal as a 4 Week Series every month ~ we need a minimum of 4 participants to run it, so sign up your friends too! If the Series is already running you can jump in as well at a pro-rated price.
Please arrive on time for your class. The Studio is open 20-30 minutes before each of our classes so you have plenty of time to arrive and relax. To respect the instructors and those who have arrived on time, we will not admit anyone into the Studio later than 5 minutes after the class has started. If you think you may be running 5 minutes late, give us a call! Thank you for understanding.
