At Kala Yoga in Orangeville, we offer a wide variety of classes, both heated and non-heated, including many different styles of yoga, yoga fusion classes and meditation! For details on the classes themselves, please visit the Class Descriptions tab. The regular rates apply for all weekly classes, except for the Karma Class, DrumClass, Belly Dance Basics, Community Meditation, Community Class and Prenatal Yoga.
The Karma Class is a $5 donation (or use your pass) which goes to a good cause (see our Beyond the Studio page for details on which cause, as it changes during the year). The Community Class, Community Meditation and many community activities are "Pay What You Can", as we would like to offer accessible and affordable yoga and a community to everyone! You can offer any denomination you feel comfortable giving, and there will be a donation box set up so only you know how much you offered. Prenatal Yoga is a pre-registered series that meets every Tuesday evening, and requires registration to attend. The series repeats every month, so you can sign up before the first Tuesday of the month to attend that month's series. Sign up here for the next series! If there is a class that you would like offered that you do not see on the schedule, please let us know! You can use the Suggestion Box in the studio, or the form on the Contact page. Our Yoga Room holds a maximum of 16 people. Please note that it is not required that you pre-register for your class, but if the class is full those who have signed up online are guaranteed a space, and then first-come, first-served.
Signing up online is a great way to reserve your spot, but if something changes please cancel your reservation or give us a call. We will not hold your spot once the class starts so as not to disrupt the class. Winter Schedule: Effective January 6th, 2020
We have a few changes to our schedule for the New Year!
Thursdays just got a new class with the addition of another Mom & Baby Yoga class with Miriana! This 75-minute class is for Moms and their infants (until fully walking), and is a great chance to connect with your baby and with other moms. Also, on the first Tuesday each month after the Mom & Baby Yoga class the Lifetime of Love Doulas will be hosting a Mom & Baby Social upstairs also! We hope you'll love these new exciting events.
Kala's Community Class has just recently moved to Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm! This heated class is a bit different each week ~ rotating instructors and styles, giving new and experienced teachers a chance to explore teaching different classes, and you get a unique experience each week!
We are really excited to welcome Hannah to teach on our regular schedule beginning in January! She will now be teaching the 10am Mindful Flow class, as Megs is no longer able to teach at that time. Thanks to Hannah for officially joining the Kala Yoga team!
And finally, our Friday schedule has changed a bit, with our regular Community Class now on Wednesdays. We still have Drum Class on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month, and Belly Dance Basics on the 2nd Friday:

Please arrive on time for your class. The Studio is open 20-30 minutes before each of our classes so you have plenty of time to arrive and relax. To respect the instructors and those who have arrived on time, we will not admit anyone into the Studio later than 5 minutes after the class has started. If you think you may be running 5 minutes late, give us a call! Thank you for understanding.
