At Kala Yoga in Orangeville, we offer a wide variety of classes, both heated and non-heated, including different styles of yoga, yoga fusion classes and meditation! For details on the classes themselves, please visit the Class Descriptions tab. The regular rates apply for all classes, except for the Karma Class, Community Class, Community Meditation and Prenatal Yoga. The Karma Class is a $5 donation (or use your pass) which goes to a good cause (see our Beyond the Studio page for details on which cause, as it changes during the year). The Community Class, Community Meditation, and many community activities are "Pay What You Can", as we would like to offer accessible and affordable yoga and a community to everyone! You can offer any denomination you feel comfortable giving, and there will be a donation box set up so only you know how much you offered. Prenatal Yoga is a pre-registered series that meets every Tuesday evening, and requires registration to attend. The series repeats every month, so you can sign up before the first Tuesday of the month to attend that month's series. Sign up here for the next series! If there is a class that you would like offered that you do not see on the schedule, please let us know! You can use the Suggestion Box in the studio, or the form on the Contact page. Our Yoga Room holds a maximum of 16 people. Please note that it is not required that you pre-register for your class, but if the class is full those who have signed up online are guaranteed a space, and then first-come, first-served.
Signing up online is a great way to reserve your spot, but if something changes please cancel your reservation or give us a call. We will not hold your spot once the class starts so as not to disrupt the class. Spring Schedule: Effective April 1st, 2019
Spring time means change! This month we have some new classes, and we are saying good-bye to one of our instructors, but also welcoming a new one.
Stretch & Flow is a brand-new class on Monday evenings with Ruth! Thanks for all your input about our Monday night schedule, we are happy to offer what we believe will appeal to the majority of your who answered!
We also have a new Mindful Flow class with Megs on Wednesday mornings ~ wake up with some mindful movement and start your day off feeling fantastic!
We are sad to see Brittany leave, but she is moving to BC! Very exciting for her, though we will miss her enormously. However on a positive note, Carrie will be taking over the Sunday morning Soul Food class ~ always a silver lining!
Prenatal Yoga with Miriana is still on our weekly schedule, but as a Pre-Registered class. You can sign up for Prenatal as a 4-5 Week Series every month ~ we need a minimum of 4 participants to run it, so sign up your friends too! If the Series is already running you can jump in as well at a pro-rated price.
Please arrive on time for your class. The Studio is open 20-30 minutes before each of our classes so you have plenty of time to arrive and relax. To respect the instructors and those who have arrived on time, we will not admit anyone into the Studio later than 5 minutes after the class has started. If you think you may be running 5 minutes late, give us a call! Thank you for understanding.
