Yin Yoga Practice Videos

Here you will find a variety of Yin Yoga practices that you can follow along with! 
You are required to complete at least two of these practices in between the first and second weekends. You may want to choose practices with poses you are less familiar with to get more acquainted with them in your body. 
Please see above each video for the postures covered in the practice.

Yin Yoga Introductory Flow (120 minutes)

Poses covered: Seiza, Butterfly, Dragonfly, Half Saddle, Sphinx/Seal, Half Shoelace, Twisted Roots, Stirrup

Yin for Hips & Low Back

Poses Covered:  Folded Pose (knee to chest), Half Stirrup, Figure Four, Figure Four with a Twist (OR Twisted Roots), Windshield Wipers, Butterfly, Butterfly pose with a lateral stretch, and complimentary Yang Movements.

Yin for Stomach & Bladder Meridians

Poses Covered: Seated Side Stretches, Dragon Flying High, Half Dragon Split, Half Saddle, Twisted Roots.

Soothing Yin for the Hips

Poses Covered: Wide Legged Child's Pose, Deer Pose, Half Butterfly, Sleeping Swan, Windshield Wipers, Reclining Butterfly.

Yin for the Lower Chakras

Poses Covered: Child's Pose, Caterpillar, Butterfly, Dragonfly, Solar Plexus Twisting, Supported Bridge.

Yin for Bladder & Intestine Meridians

Poses Covered: Broken Wing in Deer, Deer Forward Fold, Half Dragonfly, Twisted Roots.

The Golden Seed Sequence

Try this Yang sequence, based in Qi Gong, for 3-5 rounds after a Yin Flow to energize and balance the energies of the meridians. 

Yin for the Hips & Groin

Poses Covered: Butterfly, Half Butterfly folded over extended leg, Baby Dragon, Wide Legged Child's Pose, Tadpole, Frog.

Yin for the Hips

Poses Covered: Easy Pose, Half Shoelace, Butterfly, Half Happy Baby, Folded Pose.

Yin for the Heart & Heart Meridian

Poses Covered: Pericardium Stretch, Tapping for the Thymus Gland, Lotus Mudra Sequence, Butterfly Pose, Deer Pose with Upper Body Activation, Supported Heart Opener.

Yin for the Upper Chakras

Poses Covered: Banana, Supported Fish, Reclined Butterfly, Child's Pose with Side Stretch, Melting Heart. 

Yin for the Legs & Feet

Poses Covered: Butterfly, Toe Squat, Dangling, Baby Dragon, Over-stepping Dragon, Dragon Half Split, Sphinx.
